The 3-3-3 Rule for Email

When I'm writing an email, I try to follow the 3-3-3 rule. Limit yourself to three paragraphs of three sentences (or fewer). Using semicolons to cheat is forbidden, and you will be disqualified.

The third three is for three minutes. If you can't read it and respond in under 3 minutes, it's too long or complicated.

Also, please limit yourself to three attachments. If you have more than three recipients, including CCs, you need to narrow the scope. A mailing list counts as one recipient.
